# Work notes

**Overview**

Work Notes provide a custom audit trail mechanism and communication mechanism for tracking activities, decisions, and discussions related to sub-project instances. The users are allowed to write their commentary and communicate with co workers.

**Purpose**

* Create timestamped activity logs
* Enable team collaboration and communication
* Maintain compliance audit trails
* Track decision rationale and justification
* Support transparent workflows and processes
